Shereka (pronouns she/her), originally from New Orleans, is an alumnus of two HBCU’s and a member of the Charlotte Transgender Healthcare Group. She is passionate about social justice, advocacy and supporting transgender and gender expansive communities. Through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and solutions-focused therapy, she is able to reach people where they are. Shereka has expertise in supporting individuals of varying identities and backgrounds such as the LGBTQ+ community, veterans, folx affected by trauma, and more. Her goal is to provide a safe space for individuals to discuss their concerns in a nonjudgmental and supportive environment. She is a proud lesbian who enjoys cooking, playing with her dog and exploring the city with her partner.
